Our Ambassador in Iraq
How is he doing? Happiness must be to be surrounded by deadly attacks. Can he go out, can he entertain? can he breathe fresh air? how about all the depleted uranium, does he get that in his lungs too or does it only effect the Iraqi people? Is his family with him? Is he frolicking in one of Saddam's swimming pools? Can he dine out with friends? Does go out for a nice walk and admire the beauty of Iraq's historic old buildings? Must be quite a feather in his cap to be Ambassador and mingle with the very same people who gave us advanced math and the written language.

1. Looks like he's been busy.

U.S. officials point to the sieges of Fallujah and Najaf as examples of
Allawi's successful pursuit of a sophisticated pol-mil approach that
has been developed in recent weeks under U.S. Ambassador John Negroponte. In reality, these flawed exercises in applying coercive
power in variegated fashion may contribute over time to nation-splitting rather than to nation-building.

Evidently he was also largely responsible for the recent funds shift
from reconstruction to security.

In answer to your questions about his personal life, I was unable to find any answers. I heard a rumor sometime back that he was actually aa clone of Rheinhard Heydrich, but have been so far unable to confirm that.

2. I read this-----
We American's live behind bunkers, guarded by the US military who are behind the men for hire people.Keeps our body count down. those men are not in the count. And that also the people we put in power hold passport from other countries and their families are not with then. Sounds like a occupation to me.

3. I don't think his wife is with him
"Negroponte’s British wife carries on in her father’s footsteps.
Educated at the London School of Economics & Political Science, she
works as a trade lawyer in Washington, and serves on the board of
trustees of Freedom House, an organization headed by neo-conservative
R. James Woolsey, former director of central intelligence and a strong
supporter of Israel."

It just gets more tangled and grubbier all the time, doesn't it. Turn over a rock, there's Jim Woolsey.
