elected officials should be made to live under the same laws as we, with no exceptions, including the shitty minimum/slave wages they inflict on the most needy and least connected. why do we permit them to live like barons and kings? free housing, health care, free food, free transportation, etc.?

THEY WORK FOR US, we don't work for them.

(whatever it is i'm smoking, you can have some too)

You would eliminate people like Wellstone, Clinton, and Kucinich

2. Then they'd
just abolish the federal minimum wage and let "market forces" determine their pay...

3. and we should get to vote their raises
since they supposedly work for us. Merit raises based on how well they performed for their constituents.

After all, my most recent raise was 2% which nets me less money than before the raise because my health insurance premiums went up 10%. If I can't vote for my own raises, why should they.

Ok, mo, where's the :smoke: ?
