Forget the TV Media folk...We Are on Our Own...
Forget the Media folk...We Are on Our Own...

After todays stunt in regards to todays coverage of Senator Kerry's speech before the Natl Guard I have come to the conclusion outside of the two debates we are not going to see Kerry much on TV....Sattilite problems ....MY ASS!!!!!!....this was a deliberate move to hamper our candidates ability to get his message/vision for America out.

I believe it is time we take to the streets much like Mormons do and share the truths about the disasters that Bush has caused and heaped upon the USA.....we need to have a sort of TRACT printed up with talking points and statements that GWB has condridicted......We need to wear our buttons, place our bumper stickers on our cars, wear T-Shirts and in general do what we can to engage ourselves purposely to share Senator Kerry's vision/Hope for each of us......

Today the MEDIA has definitely proven themselves to be righwing biased.....We need to get Kerry into 1600 Pen.Ave and soon.

47 days to go.....March on.....

1. Exactly! We have late night, the Daily Show, F9/11 and the internet
It will be enough.

Both Jay Leno and Letterman are voting Kerry, combined with the folks that watch the daily show and f9/11 that is more people then all of those that even watch the "news" 10 ten times over.

SCREW THE MEDIA!!!

GE is trading illegally with Iran and has defense contracts in the billions, Fox is Murdoch's, and the Saudi's own the majority of AOL/Time/Warner, they are making money off of Bush, why do you think that they gave him the election in 2000.

We knew what side we were on in 2000, people need to quit acting surprised and turn that shit off!

Besides the majority of Americans get there news from Late Night Talk shows and F9/11 is coming out in a few weeks, that is enough to win.

Never forget that we are the MAJORITY!

2. Amerikan Samizdat. Just like the Old Soviet Union
Russians yearning for freedom in a Totalitarian Nation were forced to much the same (non-electronic, of course) mnethods because their media was as bad as Imperial Aerika's.

But yes, our Whore Pravda is pathetic and rigged and shriekingly comical.

3. After the election
and Kerry is elected, we the people need to push congress to toughen FCC rules reguarding media ownership. The reason CNN FOX and the other cable outlets want Bush back in office is to have another crack at monopolization.

4. I agree!

I saw some great downloads here today done by Rosebud and others!

I think we need to have a Mini Paper that we can run off everyday to distribute to folks we meet.

I always wear my Kerry Button! Yesterday I had 3 people stop me and ask good questions about the campaign! I was thrilled and took time explaning to them...

* One young guy didn't know that he had only a few days to register AND he didn't know that he could be DRAFTED under Bush! That really motivated him but I did not have a fact sheet to hand him.

* So many people don't know about voting on line, we need something visible to give them. Not an letter size, just about 1/4 letter size.
If we can keep the photos to a minimum that would be even better.

Can any body help?

6. This election will not be won on the air
It will be won on the ground.

Turn off those fucking TVs and get to work. In the time you spend watching Chris Matthews, you could have walked a block and talked to two dozen voters.

8. Does the Kerry campaign film his speeches?
Can we get Open Sourced access to them to distribute them via underground media sources?
