Laura Bush sounds like she KNOWS Dan Rather got it right!
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 02:07 PM by glarius
Is it not strange that Laura Bush said "You know, they probably are altered and they probably are forgeries, and I think that's terrible, really," she told Radio Iowa in an interview. You would think she would be definite in condemning them as fake.....It sounds to me like she KNOWS they are telling the truth. Anyone agree?

P.S....I'm referring to the documents in the 60 Minutes piece.

3. The use of the word "Probably" means to me
that they could be true . The reason for this word
is : The words contained in the memo are completely
true , so they aren't sure if the memo is real or not .

Which Means BUSH IS GUILTY OF ALL OF THESE ACCUSATIONS

5. If she or any Bushie knew that the CONTENTS were false,
then they could say definitively that the memos were fake.

But they don't say that, do they?

7. When I heard that
I knew she was lying, even though I couldn't see the TV screen. She just stammered too much. Karl sent her out in front of the cameras with a line of BS she knew was a lie.

8. "they probably are altered" ?!?
altered??? I can see her saying they "probably are forgeries" - as in "made up" - to stick to the script that they're entirely bogus, but altered? From what "original," pray tell, were they "altered"?? Nothing remotely similar (but, of course, less damning) has been released to date. Something must first exist in order to be "altered" - otherwise, we would have a "creation," not an "alteration," right?

10. Great catch, this is why we need to raise our voices
and get out the message that the issue isnt these documents, the issue is that even without them the evidence shows that Bush abandoned his duty to our country.

We cant let them turn these memos into another 16 words, so that when the memos never seem to be proven correct in the public's eyes, they all start to think it means the case against Bush cant be proven.
