For those of you not in the know, "Team America: World Police" is a movie made by Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the South Park guys) that parodies the War on Terrorism, and mercilessly ridicules every side involved in the conflict. The right-wing war mongers, and the left-wing protestors get both get made fun of, but I'm predicting conservatives are the only ones who complain.
Liberals are smart enough to recognize satire for what it is, and we can take a joke. I think "South Park" is one of the funniest and smartest shows on TV, even though it ridicules people on both sides of the political fence. And when "The Daily Show" makes the occasional crack about John Kerry, I'm able to laugh at it because humor is humor and satire is satire. After Kerry becomes President, I'll still be a loyal TDS viewer, because of the quality of their satire, not because of who the show is making fun of.
However, conservatives are much more childish in their reactions to satire. Expect all the usual suspects (Rush, Hannity, Coulter, O'Reilly) to raise Hell over this movie without ever having seen it, but expect the liberals who are also mocked in the movie to not make a sound.
