1. Kiwi?
That is what us New Zealanders call ourselves - but we were never part of the Coalition of the Sycophants. We went to Afghanistan (and are still there) but without a UN mandate no way were we in Iraq. We try not to get involved in illegal occupations. We learned that in Vietnam

3. Here's info I collected as of July 16
From the original 32-nation coalition (22,000-strong force; Several countries sent fewer than 100 troops):

Countries already gone:
Spain --1,300 troops
Honduras and Dominican Republic -- brought home their few hundred troops this past spring

Due to leave by September:
Philippines -- will pull out before its August mandate expires
Norway -- quietly pulled out its 155 military engineers this month (July)
New Zealand -- intends to pull out its 60 engineers by September
Thailand -- plans to withdraw its more than 450 troops that same month;

In other cases, forces diminished:
Moldova -- contingent is smallest -- down to 12 from 42
Singapore -- quietly reduced its presence from 191 to 33.

Others with intention to depart next year:
The Netherlands -- likely to pull out next spring
Poland -- large contingent will probably leave mid-2005
