My new bumper sticker....What do you think?
I just put a new bumper sticker on my car that says:
"EGO is no kind of foreign policy" What do you think?
I put it on magnetic strip. (You can buy it at Michael's for a couple bucks.) These Yahoos around here will key my car if I leave it on unattended.

2. Don't forget to take it with you.
I had my sticker on a magnetic strip, and someone took it. At least there was no permanent damage.

4. To each his own, but
ain't no scratch on my car that's going to keep me from speaking my mind. A keyed car is a badge of honor.

8. I don't know what you drive, but I don't want ANY scratches on my
cars! I'm voting for Kerry, but I take very good care of my cars! I park way down the lot because I don't want dings in my doors, my cars get washed and waxed all the time to keep them looking good.

I'm not sacrificing that for a bumper sticker!

10. Fine
Like I said to each his own, but the bumper sticker is kind of pointless if we only put it on around people that agree with us, isn't it?

14. And if Kerry doesn't win
you won't need that car. Mine now sports four Kerry stickers.

Hit me. Scratch it up. Give it your best shot. No car is worth more than this election.

A few scratches are better than the gas chamber or Guantanamo. Sheesh....

5. Manetic Strip?`
Can you write on those? I'd like to craft a new hand-written message everyday.

7. Well, not really but
They come with magnet on one side and sticky stuff on the other. If you write something on a piece of paper, or print it out from your computer you can stick it to the stripping. So you can make your own signs like that if you like.

6. Well, honestly
I'm more worried about leaving it on in my driveway. I live in MAJOR redneck land. Almost all my neighbors have big flags in their yards, fish symbols/crosses on their cars, pro-gun bumper stickers and drive HUGE pick-ups. I've seen them slow down and gawk at my driveway before. (And I only have one or two stickers on the car at once.) I mean real creepy dudes in camouflage trucks with very low tooth-to-skull ratio. I'm not so worried about the car getting keyed in a parking lot somewhere. I just don't want them targeting my home.

12. Believe me....I think about it often
We live in the sticks so we can garden. (We grow most of our own food organically.) We're only 90 miles from LA, though, so if I drive in that direction, the Kerry stickers get more and more common.

9. Good one!!
I also recommend the magnetic sheeting. As I understand it, there is a type that you can even run through your printer.

Go online or check your local signage businesses for various sizes of magnetic sheeting. There is all KINDS/types of it.

Writing on it might be okay if you get the right sort. Some with adhesive, some not. Some with smoothsides for various applications (maybe writing even), some without. Even comes in colors and all shapes and quantities.

I also take my mag. "stickers" off the car when I leave it...they are too precious to have stolen.
