Bloody Week in Iraq: airstrike on ambulance, another kills journalist

There has been violence in Fallujah and Baghdad this week.

On Monday in Fallujah, US planes bombed suspected insurgent houses. Some of the people killed were women and children. The US also bombed an ambulance during these strikes, killing the driver, a paramedic, and five patients.

The day before, on Sunday in Baghdad, a journalist for Arab television named Mazen al-Tomaisi was killed during a broadcast. He was reporting on a crowd gathered near a damaged and abandoned US tank when a US helicopter fired missiles. 13 people were killed and 55 wounded by that US helicopter.
