She typed memos LIKE those memos. She remembers Killian being upset over the chimp not taking a physical.

It's unusual for a soldier NOT to follow orders from a superior officer.

If they didn't take the physical they were off of flight status.

Rove retyped those memos in Word and planted them. He then had buckhead "discover" the "forgeries".

It's what he does. He take real information and taints it so that the real information is discredited. In 2000, he gave the real Bush cocaine stories to a convicted con (attempted murderer James Hatfield) so that Bush and cocaine would be synonymous with yellow journalism.

If Rather were smart, he'd dig up Sander Hicks (see Horns and Halos) and have him tell HIS story.
