"Iranian Navy, this is COALITION Warship hull number 67"

As the survey vessel I was on was returning to port in Qatar last night, I was on the bridge with the Russian captain and 1st mate listening to routine Arabian Gulf radio traffic. Many times goofy stuff from Qatari fishermen, etc. Then a radio call breaks in and says "Iranian Navy, this is COALITION Warship hull number 67...identify yourself!"

Well I lost it and blurted "Coalition warship my ***ing ass!!", and the captain and his mate a good laugh at another of little shithead George's mind games. When I served (without going AWOL I might add) a similar announcement to a Soviet sub or skimmer would be "Russian vessel, this is US Navy warship......etc.", But when I heard the words "coalition warship" I was almost embarrassed to be the only American aboard the ship.

Just thought you'd like to know lil Georgie porgy is considered a world class flaming asshole with his coalition bullshit. Please excuse my vulgarity, but no lesser words have been invented to describe that little f*cker.

I missed ALL the convention coverage. No TV. No radio. Just Ukrainian music stations and Russian movies on DVD. I hope Georgie's convention was a total **cking bust!, and that Kerry is doing well. No time to read the archives cuz going offshore in a few days. I'll be back home in a week or so. Cheers.
