could this be another reason why the bush crime family wants to take down CBS?

1. Yes it was. CBS had to be taken down as the last gasp of a legitmate
mainstream news source. Who will dare question the cabal now?

2. Yes, you're right. I didn't connect those dots, but it's
also payback for Rather's interview with Poppy years ago. Repugs don't have the elephant as it's symbol for nothing - they never forget a grudge.
