1. ooh, Johnnie Walker Blue! Good stuff! I went out in a snowstorm
to get a bottle on sale for $130 or $140 several years ago. Of course, now I'm hoarding it. I know it doesn't improve and I'll have to drink it anyway someday, but right now I've got some smaller bottles to sip from time to time.

3. Hot damn
I'm trying to convince myself to buy a bottle for election night. I can pay for it, but the idea of paying that much for a bottle of something is hard to get used to. The dh will support me if I decide to do it.

4. I gave 2:1 odds to my RW/Libertarian buddy
The bet could go higher but we probably won't go over 50 bucks.

8. It is impressively smooth and tasty
Imagine, I first got to sample it FREE at a "Big Smoke" cigar event. (sigh) Can I have more??

9. How much did you get to sample? Although the cigar would have
sent me running from the room (I'm seriously allergic and it isn't pretty when I come in contact! I'd never be able to "hold" on to the scotch--or anything else)

10. Try THOUSANDS of cigars all being smoked at once in a ballroom
It was a small shot, but I think I got to try more than one. Incredibly, their booth was very undervisited.

Never seen one again, tho, and I look for them every time. They don't let you sample it at the johnnie walker tastings, either, but they did let a select few sample the gold. (They served it to us ice cold, with a chocolate on the side. It was a great combo!)
