1. September 30, another debate with Bill Bennett.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2004

Republican William Bennett and Democrat Howard Dean will debate opposing political ideologies and key election issues on Thursday, September 30, in Portland, Maine, as part of the upcoming Fall Conference of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

The unique debate, titled "The Maine Event," begins at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn By the Bay and pits together two of the nation's most powerful political voices in a rare no-holds barred debate on contrasting party philosophy, and their views of what issues will impact who America chooses as President.

The debate will precede the nation's first Presidential election debate between President George W. Bush and challenger Senator John Kerry, scheduled for later that evening.

Hopefully this will be a more receptive audience to Dean, whom I hear fought the good fight at the last one at Villanova. However, what can you do when all your opponent (Bennett) has to say is that Kerry flips flops....and the young audience becomes estatic and cheers. How thought provoking it that? Is that what our college age have become? They get orgasmic over hearing about Kerry flip flops when serious issues are being debated?

3. Isn't it pathetic?
A gambler who lost 8 million or so, speaking to the college youth, and his main point is that Kerry flip flops and they cheer. That is purely pathetic.
