When they say the "faggot America" they are wearing the term as a badge of honor.

When I sing along with the song I think of all my gay friends and how we agree on all things political. It makes me happy.

5. I'm almost 50 years old

I loved their performance and the song so much I went ahead and downloaded it and play it in my car (at a semi appropriate volume) on a daily basis.

Their sound reminds me of when I lived in the East Village in NY in the late 70's.

Just another example of great music being timeless.
