I just saw a "be prepared get a kit" ad

have they started running these ads more

or have i just been in the no-tv happy land too long

3. Our local Wal-mart

has tons of them in the front aisles. Big orange bags right up front with signs about protecting yourself and your family from terror attacks and natural disasters. I also noticed the other day that there is a 4 or 5 page ad in the yellow pages about Homeland Security and how to protect yourself from terrorists.

have a plan, have an emergency kit etc., old news to those of us who've lived in tornado/hurricane country

If Bush gets back in, every time Cheney doesn't get his way, they'll set Al-Ka-Seltzah on us to keep us in line and rimind us that "terra is out there!".
