Nietzsche Quote for discussion
"The strongest knowledge - that of the total unfreedom of the human will - is nonetheless the poorest in successes, for it always has the strongest opponent: human vanity."

SOmebody has to tell this to Shrub and his supporters. FAST!

1. Here is the companion quote from Human, All to Human that
has to be added here:

"Not a few, perhaps the great majority of men, find it necessary, in order to maintain their self-respect and a certain effectiveness in their actions, to lower and belittle the image they form of everyone they know."

Now that is GWB if I ever saw it.

2. Sounds like Nietzsche is describing the social identity process.
Leave it up to good ol' Frederick to expose another human weakness. Perhaps Freud was correct when he said Nietzsche has a better understanding of man than most.

3. That quote was in a research article I was reading
THe context it was in infered that people refuse to acknowledge they are being controlled by outside sources becasue they simply don't want to admit they are wrong. Made me think of the Bush sheeple right away.
