8. Something had to push chimpy's disastrous press conference
off tonight's headlines. Rove-mission accomplished. Another day, another dirty deed.

9. Bush is desperately afraid that there will be an attack
before the elections.

If there is, that will be proof he does not have special powers that keep Murika free from terriss.

This "affect the elections" bullshit is so people will think, "Gee, if I blame Duhbya for this and hold him accountable at the ballot box, I am doing just what the terriss want! So I will vote Duhbya anyway!"

Americans are so fucking dumb, it's a disgrace. A politician who tried shit like this in a civilized country would be run out on a rail.

By the way, didn't pResident Overmedicated just hold a press conference explaining how he hadn't screwed up Iraq and he was making us all so much safer? (Of course, he also fucked up the press conference, but still....)

11. It's really interesting, isn't it?
The dems have been fairly organized with their absentee voting efforts. I mean, with our demographic base, it's been a huge blessing.

Prior to this year, I've never noted the neocons hustling the absentee voting angle.

So, one has to wonder if the imminent terrorist attacks (which, IMO, fall in the same imminent category as Iraq's WMDs) and this new-found love of absentee balloting are connected. I suppose if you build your campaign on fear and then announce how more terror attacks are going to take place, you wouldn't want to keep your own petrified base from the polls. This way they can continue to hide under their respective sinks and still vote.

13. Au Contraire
the repubes have the absentee thing fine-tuned.. They are just "reminding" their devotees about it because they know in their gut that they cannot win this thing fairly.. Those absentee ballots were their ace in the hole in 2000, and they probably will need them again, since recounting will not be an option in most states..

There will probably be way more "under-the-radar" Dems this time around, so they need all their tricks to work.:(

12. I am so confused???
I thought that the world and the US is safer because * is in charge and made us safe with all his wonderful policies? Then WHY are we having TERRA alerts now?
