Why would the media want Bush to win?
What is in it for them? RW owned, is that why?

Bush, through Powell, gives them the greatest opportunity to cement their stranglehold on all media, completing the transformation to commodity.

2. The major media is owned by diversified companies
like GE and AOL/Time Warner. Media is only part of the picture for them. Rupert Murdoch was prepared to lose significant dollars launching Fox News so it isn't abou the money to be made in media.

The companies which own the media now bought in after the Fairness Doctrine was struck down. In an sense they ARE the GOP.

3. The media are owned by a handful of corporations.
Who in turn have through the shrub get massive tax breaks,corporate friendly laws, environmental restriction lifted, etc....
