WOW! Lou Dobbs might be great on Job Outsourcing but he's a Hawk
Edited on Thu Sep-23-04 05:17 PM by KoKo01
A big Iraqi/War Hawk. Having to barf through John King's great presentation of how magnificent Bush and Allowi were today, I then had to listen to Bob Franken say how Kerry's mysterious larynx problem caused him to cancel meeting with "the people" for a "press" interview at a Fire House. Franken went on to say that Kerry would "hunker down" to rest his voice for the debates...and Franken added it was a good thing that Kerry's voice went this week and not next for the "Debates." Franken delivered the last zinger with a smirk.

I turned if off after that...Dobbs is playing to those concerned about jobs with good journalism while he "whores" for CNN Corporatists about Bush's Endless wars.

Which side is he on? Folks here might be better off buying or subscribing to "American Prospect" or the "Nation" for info about what Bush's job policy is doing than tuning into Dobbs unless you have TIVO a and can tune out his War Mongering Bush Support...

Blech!

3. He's a self proclaimed Republican-
Just not a Neo-con. I've read an interview of him, he made no false pretense about "being on our side".

5. Yes, I read that last week Lou was having a hissy over Annan's comments...
that the Iraq war is illegal under international law and this was repeated the next day when Kitty Pilgrim sat in for Lou. In both broadcasts, "experts" from the Heritage Foundation were brought in to dispute Annan. But this is nothing new for Dobbs or CNN. I stopped watching CNN awhile back because it was apparent the network's programs had become a one-network talk show circuit for the neocons and their propaganda. Lou used to bring on people like John Fund and Richard Perle to discuss the Iraq war, but I don't know if he still does that.
