CBS Evening news skewering Bush/Allawi posturing

They're not buying the Allawi spin. rumsfeld contradicted Allawi a couple hours later in senate testimony by saying that only partial elections might be necessary - then cut to Biden warning that the Iraqis would see partial elections as illegitimate. Sweet.

But all the Republicans will see is the story in the middle: the terrorist Zarkawi (spelling?)recruiting people from all over and moving freely in Iraq.

Our invasion allowed Zarqawi to do all that. If we hadn't invaded, he'd still be stuck in the north.
