From recovery to bust -- under Bush, Cleveland now poorest city in USA
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6080044/

Thanks to the Bush economy, Cleveland has gone from recovery all throughout the 1990s to worse off than Detroit, with massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters.

2. Poorer than Camden, Detroit and even Newark, NJ.
This is a city that was booming and alive and coming back all through the 1990s. Killed stone dead by the Bush economy.

5. Actually, it makes me wonder about the accuracy of the polls
Cleveland has a 12% unemployment rate. That's worse than FRANCE, which is an economic basket case right now.

They have been kicked around like a rag doll by this administration.

6. 1 word - fundies
Seriously. I didn't think Ohio had so many but I guess they do. Listen, there's nothing wrong about believing in Jesus and praying for better times, but why don't people have their prayers answered and vote for John Kerry!

10. Well, truth be told, John is a FAR better Christian than Bush
I mean for starters, he doesn't start unnecessary wars, and he REGULARLY goes to church.
I'd love to split W's base in some creative way.

I live in Ohio, I see more Kerry signs in Northeast Ohio the * signs.
Where I live outside of Cleveland we are mostly blue collar union people. Would not even Consider Voting Repug. Go south to the farm country and they love * go figure. My union the National Association of Letter Carriers endorsed Kerry. And 95% of our union will vote Kerry!!!!!
