Team Bush taps the Awesome Power of Anal Pee (NLP)

Is it a science or is it a pseudoscience?

How 'bout a little of both?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming styles itself to be the ultimate form of mind-rape, and NLP Master Practitioners claim to be able to "install" any mental state they wish. Not suprisingly, most of its adherents are salesmen and young men seeking to get laid. But now, it seems that Team Bush has decided to tap into their Higher Unconscionability to use Anal Pee against John Kerry, the Democratic Party, the Liberals, America, and the World.

So says the London News Review.

... Vote Democrat and you’ll be “hit again” – Vote Republican or be bombed. Vote Bush or die. You’d think a politician would be asked to resign if they said something so plainly unjustifiable, so plainly evil and manipulative, but no: this is the keynote of the Republican reelection message: a vote for Kerry is a vote for death. Flip flop, flip flop, flip flop, you’re going to die, flip flop, flip flop, you’re going to die.

Basically, in boiling down their message to this single point of fear, and constantly associating this fear with the flimsiness of the flip-flop, the Republicans are using simple Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques to baffle and control a nation.

NLP is all about implanting ideas through suggestion, through patterns of speech – anchoring emotions and forcing thoughts. Bush and Cheney are not trying to reason with the electorate, they are programming them using fear, using keywords, repetition, reinforcement, and threats. Their message is explicitly this: stick with us or bad stuff will happen; stick with us or die: “if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be a devastating from the standpoint of the United States.”

If George Bush ever shows up to a press conference with an E-Meter, I'm outta here.
