2. Vanderbushes

I think this is due to the silver spoon influence and all that that implies. I haven't met many 'born on third base and thought they hit a triple' folks like Mr. Bush in my life. The few I have known amazed me with what self-centered lethargic slugs they were. It makes you want to run up and hug the fabulously wealthy parent who has raised a kid with a realistic worldview.

I recently read a book on the Vanderbilts written about 40 years ago and it was fascinating how that once wealthy family deteriorated over the generations. Perfect reference for the Bushes.
