Which companies support Democrats?
I remember seeing some lists awhile back but I can't find them now. Any useful links from you would be helpful. Thanks

4. I thought most of the major ones support both parties.
As insurance that no matter who wins, their interests are taken care of.

7. Companies or major corporations?
...there are well over 6.5 million independent companies in America many of which employ under 20 people. The 2002 U.S. Economic Census which is conducted every five years is just now releasing data:

<link> http://www.census.gov/econ/census02/

If the old 80%/20% rule holds then approximately 1.3 million of those businesses are responsible for 80% of the jobs and revenues generated. The other 80% are scrambling for the 20% that is left over. I'm afraid that neither party really gives a crap what those 80% are doing especially as you look at the way legislation and tax burdens are levied on the vast number of small businesses. Bush gives lip-service and hope to the small business owners, but then sends all of the breaks to large corporations.
