6. Why did you support Gulf II w/me and oppose Gulf War I w/paps?
Tweetie brought this up. It's actually not such a bad question (and I loathe Tweetie). What's a smart answer?

My answer is totally unacceptable: "You're a better liar than your father. Now, go f*** yourself you twerp...and, BTW, are you wearing platform shoes?"

7. Hmmm
1. We are better off with Saddam out of power do you deny it?

The reason given for the war was that Iraq had WMD. Turns out they don't have them after Saddam, and apparently didn't before. So we've spent 87 billion dollars and ended the lives of over 1000 young soldiers and countless (at least you haven't informed us of the exact number) numbers of Iraqi civilians for no net gain in safety. We could have hunted terrorists without shock and awe, for a lot less money. Perhaps the oil industry is better off without Saddam, but that's just a relatively small group of rich men in Texas, not America.

2. We have job growth.

There's plenty in India I hear. Funny how all customer service/support numbers you call connect you to Bangalore.

3. I have no control over oil prices.

The Saudis do, and you rub elbows with them more often than the Average American, think you could put in a word?

4. There is no problem with no bid contracts.

Even insurance companies make you get at least two estimates.

5. No Child Left behind is the best thing to happen in years.

Looks to provide the administration with all the names they need for a draft roster for the upcoming "Wars for No Reason Except Bush Felt Like It" that seem to be brewing

6. There is no problem with no lawyers for accused terrorists.

No problem also when Ashcroft decides simple vandalism is classified as terrorism and our kids can get shipped to an island somewhere with no recourse.

7. There are more small business.

Tax breaks favor business. We all should put "Inc." after our names.

8. I didn't try and cut overtime.

No, you pushed for "flex time" which costs corporations less money, especially when they can deny "flex" time off.

9. Cheney isn't connected to Haliburton.

<cough...splorf...cough cough cough...>

10. Iraq is under control who are you kidding.

If an average of one carbomb a day qualifies as under control, I guess we are kidding.

11. I am winning the war on terror.

What's the definition of "losing the war on terror" (other than voting for Kerry?)

12. Vote for me or get attacked again I'm your man.

Isn't that how the mafia works?

15. The intelligence on Iraq is not my fault I never pressured any one.

Then who takes the fall, Mr Chief Executive? Point them out.

16. I didn't leak information on a CIA agent to the press.

Once again, if someone did, it would be your job to figure out whom.

9. Here is some of my response
We do not have job growth there are allot of numbers they do not count in those numbers they are down really. There is not job growth compared to what it was when you came into office. It is up a little last quarter and that is debatable depending who you ask. Saddam out of power is better what about north Korea, Columbia they push drugs and i thought your administration said terrorists push drugs, what about Cuba or Sudan there was more genocide there why not go there, Bush where are the weapons can't you tell the truth to the American people it went from imminent threat to isn't the world a better place. A recent poll in Europe says they hate America more isn't that more dangerous for Americans? lots of countries pulled out of Iraq I think Kerry would have a better chance he is a new face and new leader. You are not winning the war on terror look at Iraq. We are hated through out the world at least you are not me I am a new face. Tell the truth how much is the war going to cost and who will get those contracts. Why don't you give me more than two minutes to respond why don't you stay latter tonight I am willing to. Why don't you go to a town haul meeting where anyone can ask questions were the people can ask. Any way my man man wants to debate you man Cheney in a town haul meeting will he show up ? No scrips no time limit 3 hours. I want one to this is alimited debate is not enough time are you game?

10. Number one is easy
I'm sorry to answer no, we are not better off now. And this is the ultimate indictment of this administration--they somehow managed to make the world a more dangerous place in the process of removing Saddam Hussein. I can't imagine a more fitting example of their incompetence than that--their allowing terrorism to flourish and expand in postwar Iraq.

12. Responses, I had a brain "storm"
1. "We are better off with Saddam out of power do you deny it?"
No, but our purpose was to help the Iraqis. Are THEY better off? Especially the dead, injured and terrorized ones?

2. "We have job growth."
Particularly in the manufacturing sector representing food assembly.

3. "I have no control over oil prices."
but just wait until after the election, you haven't seen anything yet!

4. "There is no problem with no bid contracts."
Well, the money does get recycled back into the U.S. with taxes paid....or does it end up in offshore accounts?

5. "No Child Left behind is the best thing to happen in years."
if only we could pay the good teachers a fraction of what they are worth.

6. "There is no problem with no lawyers for accused terrorists."
you're right, who knows what else they might uncover?

7. "There are more small business."
and the small ones grow smaller every day.

8. "I didn't try and cut overtime."
you made it mandatory.

9. "Cheney isn't connected to Haliburton."
he already paid his dues, now its time to collect.

10. "Iraq is under control who are you kidding."
I guess you're right, the CIA agent you put in charge of Iraq said so.

11. "I am winning the war on terror."
See the response to 10.

12. "Vote for me or get attacked again I'm your man."
sorry but you already had your apocalyptic Kodak moment.

13. There are no record bankruptcies.
See the response to 3.

14. "About half of small business do not go bankrupt?"
the "better" half?

15. "The intelligence on Iraq is not my fault I never pressured any one."
right, that's the problem, you never pressured anyone.

16. "I didn't leak information on a CIA agent to the press."
I guess it is a stretch to consider Robert Novak a member of "the press."

13. The CIA only guesses
Edited on Fri Sep-24-04 02:15 AM by darknesstolight
The FBI only guessed with the phoenix memo before 9-11 and the CIA
guessed before 9-11. The report today is a guess I know how to handle
intelligence Bush indicated today... la la I'm in denial I'm in a dream world la la la.... I need a good vacation after the election.

14. I predict he won't answer any of the questions.
I can see him briefly addressing what the question is all the while skewing it to the question he's come prepared to answer. And that'll be all the crap he's been spewing out on the trail. And the responses will be limited and the moderators won't be able to ask a followup question to show the question hasn't been answered. Same as 2000. I sure hope I'm wrong.
