7. Blowing up children and wedding parties emboldens the enemy.
The insurgents are looking for revenge for the 40,000 casualties inflicted on their family members, the more innocent people that the US military kills and maims in their attempts to kill an armed combatant, more armed combatants come into the fray.

We killed 2 million Vietnamese trying this same futile strategy. The morons in the administration want to repeat this mistake.
