Let's all make this our new computer background picture ....
As Josh Marshall points out in his blog (http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com) this one cartoon sums up the coming election. If you can, put it on your work computer (don't get fired though!).

1. I heard a scum repug congressman from California ..
yesterday on TV comparing our military casualties to casualties of traffic accidents. Utterly disgusting and reprehensible failure or refusal to give a shit about our soldiers.

This infantry vet will fight these traitors to the last breath.

2. recent letter in my local paper
that rebuked people for getting so uptight about reaching over 1000 dead - logic being that it really wasn't that many! I almost gagged when I read that. How can people be so insensitive?

3. "We support and honor our troops..
except when they embarrass us by getting killed or wounded. Then we completely marginalize them and downplay or ignore their sacrifices." What impressive patriotism.

4. Or you can do what I do in my repub-filled office.
Print the image on several remote printers throughout the day.

I cannot tell you how many times I've had these people gathering in their little groups and bitch about the traitor who keeps printing all of these anti-* pictures.

5. It's great seeing someone taking the time to point this out so well.
It IS astounding how little they care about these men they send to die for completely unforgiveable reasons. They are as happy to see them die as they are to see them kill "enemy" before they get shot, themselves.

It all adds up to their feeling of enormous power. It doesn't affect them, can't reach them, so who cares?

It just kills me to hear them droning on, on tv interviews using the word "we" to include themselves when speaking of the war. They aren't involved, actually.
