1. Saw Green Day do "American Idiot"
on Letterman. Great! They might have been more effective to tone down the profanity. The bleeps were interfering with the message.

No, it didn't. It's not a political album at all. The title wasn't even meant to apply to Bush, even though it does.

Sparta are anti-Bush if memory serves correctly. Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Desaparecidos, Silverchair, Closet Monster, Protest The Hero, Warsawpack, Propaghandi, The Weakerthans, Refused. I dunno, I'm sure I could think of more, but that's all my melon is capable of right now.

I don't know if it's specifically meant to be an anti-Bush song, but "King Caesar" by Head Automatica makes me think of Bush.

"Let's Not Shit Ourselves" by bright Eyes has a good anti-Bush verse in it.

Warsawpack has a bunch of great songs with anti-Bush/war/empire/etc. themes.
