vets who lost friends from texas....
who were they?
what were they like?
... I guess THEY didn't have the right connections to the texas state house to get into the TANG.

4. Rove probably shredded that paperwork too.
Gotta go now...bottom of the 9th coming up. Time to watch the Sox knock Rivera around again. :toast:

6. Now I'm watching McQueen in Papillon.
Seems fitting after tonight. Papi's always striving hopefully in the face of adversity...never, ever giving up. All he needs is a Red Sox cap. :)

3. Sonewhere online I've seen the names and info on

some Texans who died in Nam, as in "One of these men died in Dubya's place."

These were guys drafted when Bush* would have been if he hadn't gotten to jump to the head of the waiting list for TANG.

Maybe someone else here can remember where that info is. Or maybe a search would turn it up.
