7. So weird,

a caller was talking.....and when he finished what he was saying, he said Mike??, Hello?? Hello?? Mike??? and it was like Mike was just out there, very strange sounds, and then Mike comes back on, asks if the caller is there, and he wasn't, and then Mike said, hello??, asked for the caller, and there was nothing, then Mike said we've been having some kind of problems, and talked for a few seconds, then said, he had to go to a commercial. It was just very strange.

I've always thought that the way Mike gets himself worked up on the air (and the Bush Crime Family certainly gives him enough reason to get worked up), that one day his head's just going to explode - and for a second there, listening to the caller say "Mike? Mike? Hello?" I thought it just might have happened - it was just a horrible, sick feeling. :scared:

In any case, I'm glad it was just a phone/power fart.

I am thankful he's normal again. hehehe Normal, isn't that a great word for us at DU??? I'm telling ya, if I didn't find this place, I would have been up for murder. 10. Mike feeds from Atlanta via ISDN

to the studio in NY. All the callers are fed from the NY studio. Just one of the wonders of technology. It will be great when AAR has the financial support to have redundant feeds to avoid these problems. Have patience and enjoy, it's like a behind the scenes viewpoint.

11. There was a problem with his connection. Got it fixed.

All is OK now. Remember, he broadcasts from his home in Ga. Sometimes there's problems with these remote connections. Very rarely, thank goodness.
