For all those people who know how you are voting...
Why the hell do you watch TV and bitch about it?

Ok, I have had a few (13 beers) tonight but it is a serious question. If these people piss you off so much why the hell do you watch them? Why the hell do you watch Fox News? We all know they are full of shit, why put yourself through the torture to watch them? Same goes for CNN. They are ALL pandering to the almighty dollar! Seriously, when was the last time they actually reported news? They report, errrr, talk about what will get them ratings. THATS ALL!!! If they found out a story about a dog going cross country to find his original owners would get them 1/2 of an extra percentage point over reporting REAL news they would put the god damn dog story on. In the infamous words of Dick "Crash cart" Cheney, "They can co Fuck themselves!".

If you are so pissed at them just make sure you voice your opinion on Nov. 2nd. I am sure they will get the message then!

1. Dog story
Hey, I like that and think it would be better than most of the news.

read Fox News' FCC filings. Seriously. Fox News cannot misrepresent themselves is these filings. No where does it purport to be a news network. Nope. Instead, it states that Fox is entertainment (hence, not news). This is true, too, of their alleged trademark "fair & balanced" too. Again, its not a factual statement only their own opinion. Again, it means that Fox News is not fair and balanced as a fact only that they *feel* it is.

Are you still w/ me here?

So, dammit, turn OFF the television. All the crap is just crap. Noise that tries to hype itself as "news" that really is not . . . it reeks of screaming people trying to shock the watcher into NOT turning off the televsion. Unreal. All for profit.

Al Franken was correct. 100% correct about all this crap.

edited to add: btw, are you aware that the Fox News CEO, Roger Eugene Ailes, is an old conservative hack? Read all about Ailes at: http://www.disinfopedia.org/wiki.phtml?title=Roger_Ailes

3. I don't rely on the media whores ...
I watch FSTV and LINK for my news and understanding. I rely on INDY media for my "fair and balanced". The corporate whores and presstitutues no longer bother me and I don't care anymore how much big bucks they make in their attempt to mislead me and mine! We just don't buy that at all now.

I tell other people about this and I stand by it to the max and if other people want to take my word for it against the media, they can leave me for good ... they are lost and not worth the effort ... sadly.

I can firmly and honestly say now that the corporate media is now owned and payed for and it is not, at all, in our best interests as a democracy.

Anybody who can hear and understand that can see that media is even more important than politics and elections right now.

If you want to know how to win a modern "revolution" it is not going to be about bitchin' about the media. It is going to be about ABANDONING the mass media in droves and GREAT numbers from here on in. It is going to be about an exodus to Indy media and total financial support for it.

Right now, you are, like it or not, funding those who are doing you in. No matter what, you are paying them for your own undoing. Be it corporations, media, or government, it is your money that is the ONLY thing that gives them the most power to undo you individual rights.

Oh really? Yes! You buy this and that, pay this tax and the other. All-in-all, it supports the people who are making the ultimate decisions. We may bitch about corporately owned media, while we buy things from stores that are owned by them. How do we deal with that problem and resolve it when we want what they have to offer?
