Death and Unhappiness released by the repube-lickans
on a grand scale. My overrarching impression of this administration is that they worship $, power, and narrow-minded ideology over everything truly humane.
The pandora's box they've opened can clearly be seen here. http://photos.reuters.com/pictures/.

Ours is a diseased death-worshipping culture (50% of Americans want * reelected), that seeks wealth, materal comfort, and power at the expense of the rest of the world's well-being. 4500 advanced laser-guided "bunker-busters" to the Israelis, attacking a soverign country under pretext and then implying that it was a mistake while building 14 permanent huge military bases there. Coordinated verbal attacks on any Islamic country, by the US and Israel, that could actually inflict some justice on Israel. Not to mention a democratic candidate who advances the * line, but distinguishes his policy in that he would "do it smarter". I don't blame Kerry for this, but I do hold the American people responsible for it.

We are at, and past, the meteoric rise of American power because we no longer are viewed with anything but suspicion in the global community and we're doing nothing to help the world. Instead, we're systematically imflaming the root-cause of global hatred of America. I'm sure our fall will be just as fast and spectacular. And you know what? We'll deserve everything we get. My problem is that it's the proletariat that will pay for everything, and they've only been accomplices in the bushco criminal enterprise. Bushco will skate to reemerge another day.

This country makes me sick.

1. it is rather frustrating, isn't it? it took me a while to like kerry, too
however, i've adjusted myself to the idea of incremental change. the fact is, there's no way DK could have won, despite my best wishes. and even if he had, the repub controlled congress woulda boycotted him. however, with slow, little changes, we can bring america back.

2. Yes, The Proletariat Will Suffer, But There Is Nothing That Says
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 11:50 AM by mhr
The uber wealthy don't have to suffer a bit as well.

That's what revolutions are for.

Hey, if Bush and company are already putting the screws to the weak and poor, we can put the screws to the oppressors.

It is quite ironic that Bush and company allowed the assault weapons ban to lapse since they are ultimately the ones with the most to fear and the most to loose.

For those interested in acquiring self defense - http://www.ak-47.net/

It shouldn't be too hard to build a few guillotines as well. Public beheading of the wealthy at noon could replace football after the electricity dies.
