5. I'm sorry, but I find this almost as depressing as

The difference between the two is Kerry's heroism is more than a conceit of a toy company. But this trend of turning leaders into military action figures and video games is not suggestive of a healthy political culture.

7. well, I find the whole idea of war sickening
But if this video game could somehow get some mass media attention, and some of the screenshots get shown on TV, it get get him a few crucial votes, and that just might be the thing that wins it for kerry. And if Bush wins, some people will die --either by war, or by lack of medical care-- that would not have died otherwise. And you or I might be one of those dead people. Ya never know....

6. While I'm sure the game's creator intended it to be respectful of Kerry...
...I still find the whole thing tacky and offensive. But that's just me.

9. you have to understand that this campaign is a war of IMAGERY
And if this game manages to grab a little media attention, and some of those screenshots get shown on national TV, it WILL win him a few votes from the redneck sheeple. That is how the brain of the human critter works. Images are more powerful than logic. I am a leftist because of logic. But most people are not that logical about this sort of thing. Images work their magic on those people. Images like those screenshots I posted above. Get a few of those on tv...

And if those few votes puts Kerry over the top, then we have saved some lives, maybe even our own....

10. Coming for Play Station II: "BEER BONG WARRIOR"
Recreate all of the thrilling action of defending Austin air space against the menace of Ho Chi Minh!

Can you rise to the challenge of taking part in a flight drill without getting scared, downing a half-dozen tequila shots AND successfully hitting on school-age girls -- all in the same 24 hour period?

13. I rented "Secret Weapons Over Normandy" the other week.
Not a bad game actually, but in one mission you're fighting in the Pacific Theater (which I'm pretty sure isn't over Normandy) and there's this one American pilot simply named Bush, who has one line over all the chatter: "God, bless America."

I couldn't believe LucasArts could sink so low.

But you get to fly an X-wing and a TIE fighter when you beat the game, so that almost makes up for it.
