One of my neighbors just asked for a sign!
A Kerry sign...I had an extra in case my original was stolen, so I gave it to him. He lives 2 streets away and was walking with his beautiful little kids. I also made sure he was registered. That is another sign in a Price Hill yard (more right-wing than liberal area in Cincinnati).

1. I saw a lot of Kerry-Edwards signs today
as I was making the rounds of the area's yard sales.

Kerry signs outnumbered * signs by at least 3 to 1. T

his is in Gaithersburg, MD.

2. where are all the Kerry/Edwards signs?
I haven't received a bumper sticker I was to get for donating to MoveOn over a month ago. Nobody seems to have signs. Not one Kerry/Edwards sign in my neighborhood, only many Bush/Cheney. I know the Republicans have a lot more money so maybe I will make a homemade one.

I have a 20 foot flagpole on my lawn, the only one in my area. I want to plant a Kerry sign at the base to show that Democrats can be patriotic, too. Not sure how long it will last before it is stolen even with a spotlight shining on the flag all night.

3. I am a member of the Democratic Central Committee here
in Dubuque, IA and we are having to buy Kerry signs out of the money we have budgeted for GOTV here. We are just not getting any from the DNC or the Iowa Democratic Party. I hate driving around town and seeing Bush-Cheney signs and knowing that people are begging for Kerry-Edwards signs. We have people coming across the river from Wisconsin and Illinois looking for them so it looks like the party isn't getting them out there.

4. and here I thought they were just saving them for "swing states" like Iowa

I will sacrifice a sign here in the Hoosier state where Bush seems to be a shoo in and can understand saving money in the TRUE BLUE states, but I cannot understand the DNC/DLC being stingy in the "swing states"! :kick:

5. I don't understand it either.
The volunteers that staff the office all week told us to use their food budget to buy signs. Hell, the party and Kerry collected so much money this year it looks to me like they could send us some signs so we could feed our staffers. These people are working their butts off.
