I just got the impression if you wanted to have a picture in Webster's of "pompous ass" you would use one of Bill O'Reilly.

2. I didn't see it - but I don't have to O'liely is a piece of crap.

I have read "The O'Really? Factor" book that exposes him for the bald-faced liar that he is and will always be. There is a special place in hell for folks like Bill O.

3. What was the point of having him on?

Was it just one of those profile pieces?

5. Yeah, it was a Mike Wallace profile piece

with shots of O'Reilly as a kid, his parents, home, etc. O'Reilly claiming he's just a "working class guy" even though he makes 10 mil a year. Clips of him telling people to shut up-things like that. I just don't know how this guy is so popular-he makes my skin crawl just watching him. Wallace brought up the confrontation between O'Reilly and Al Franken and seemed to imply he was caught lying but never pursued it. When Wallace tried to characterize O'Reilly, he dismissed Wallace as pulling some type of "Dr. Phil" stunt. I know CBS is now probably pretty gun-shy right now-but they could at least challenged him on some of the many lies he keeps telling over and over.

6. Basically...

...Mike Wallace gave O'Lielly enough rope to hang himself with, and he did. He denied every lie of his that Wallace pointed out, saying it was all "Al Franken's character assassination of me". O'Lielly ended the segment by saying "I am a barbarian. I am a hun. I am an outsider. And I love being an outsider." The only time he stopped blinking long enough for you to see his pupils.

7. Ahh, blinking!

Why don't interviewers point it out when their subject does that?

"Pardon me, Mr. O'Reilly, but you're eyelids are blinking like crazy. Are you all right? Was it something I said?"

I would LOVE to see reactions!

and even some of his friends said he was an asshole....
