Has anyone read "Up From Conservatism" by ex-conservative..
...Michael Lind? I bought a copy of this almost a year ago and forgot that I had it. I came across it a week ago and started reading the first couple of chapters. It's rough going. He divides the right, left and center into so many subgroups that I can't make heads or tails of this thing. He actually refers to a "moderate middle" and a "radical center". "Moderate middle" sounds redundant to me and I have no idea what the "radical center" is. Maybe it will become clearer to me if I read a little further but I'm not sure it will be worth it. Has anyone read this book? Should I stick with it? I've already read David Brock's "Blinded by the Right", should I read "Up From Conservatism" as well?
