I've been reading clinton's biography recently, came to a realization about him. When he was campaigning he said he was going to do this and that and then when elected actually did it. No matter what your party affiliations. I'd have to give some respect to any president that actually did what they said they are going to do.
Clinton said he would reduce the deficit, put 100,000 police on the streets, shrink the size of government etc. Then he completed these tasks one by one.
If a president were graded for their work with a report card you'd have to give clinton credit for completing his work and a good grade.
Now I don't remember all of bush campaign promises, but a few lines I remember. He said he was a compassionate conservative, didn't want to nation build, would bring dignity back to the white house. Don't you think his report card will say incomplete, or didn't show up for class, bad attitude toward work.
Also I kinda realized that the republicans cannot talk about what they really plan to do honestly or they would not be elected in the first place.
