Nashville today: More Kerry stickers than W stickers!

Driving home, I hold a little bumper sticker poll as I make my 60 minute commute home from work.

Today was unprecedented: EIGHT Kerry stickers to ONE "W" sticker.

One guy even had a bumpersticker that said, "I'm a Christian, I own a gun, and I'm a Democrat!"

"Kerry Landslide" is sounding sweeter every day!

2. Heh, I stopped at the PACE union building today ...

... to pick up a "Steal My Overtime, Lose My Vote" sticker, and it was like driving in heaven. EVERY car had at least one Kerry sticker on it - some of them had three or four.

PS: I *didn't* count these in the aforementioned tally. :)

3. I drove more than 6000 miles this summer

Nevada to New York to Florida to Nevada.

There were seemingly more Kerry stickers than Bush stickers everywhere.

We have the passion. Do we have the numbers?

4. I've also been seeing more Kerry yard signs.

The Bush people wallpapered a major road that I drive down - apparently went door to door to find the Bush supporters and then offered them free signs. No other way to explain it.

Anyhow, the Kerry/Edwards signs have been popping up - a few more every week. When someone puts up a K/E yard sign, you know they had to make an effort (and pay some cash) to get it.
