Dan Rather can regain his credibility by publicly apologizing and vowing to never again mention Bush's missing year in the Guard, Bush's missing WMD's, Bush's missing budget surplus, or Bush's missing plans for the invasion of Iraq. Then he'll be just as credible as the rest of you newsreaders.

Please! The Docs in question HAVE NOT been proven to be fakes, however, listening to you, and the rest of the Right Wingers, one might think they have been.

Rather's credibility is in the same standing as Bob Novak's. You know him, right? He's the guy who refuses to say who at the White House, in violation of the law, leaked the name of a CIA Agent.

I'll worry about Dan Rather's credibility right after Mr. Novak starts practicing what he so stridently preaches, and outs the Senior White House Felon who told him about Ms Plame.

Far as I am concerned, until we see some document proving Bush reported to Alabama as ordered during wartime and peed in a cup, Dan Rather has HIS credibility.

Dan apologized because the memos had not been checked out properly before being aired. When will CNN apologize for passing along the Swift Boatters' outright lies as if they were fact?
