The Zell Miller Award goes to a Democrat who turns his back on the party.

I nominate Houston Mayor Bill White for being a special guest speaker at a Tom DeLay fundraiser which netted $40,000. All of this money will be distributred to other Republicans to defeat our Democrats. While many of the Richard Morrison supporters were working their ass off, White was raising funds for DeLay. Many of the Morrison supporters worked the White campaign.

Bill White is the mayor of Houston. Ran on a platform of inclusiveness on both sides of the isle. He was the former Texas Democratic Party Chair.

switched parties at the last minute so he would not have a challenger? Or does he not count?

3. I spoke to one of the guys in our county last night....

who used to be our Rockwall County chair, and he said even back when Bill White was a Democrat, he thought he was a giant asshole.

Guess he just finally came out and went with it.
