Some food for thought...
The voulenteer options that are listed on your local Dem HQ website are NOT the ONLY options! Everyone on this board has a special skill that they use on the job on a daily basis. Put that skill to good use by donating your time to the Democratic party. If you call your local HQ, I can gaurentee that they will have something that needs to be done, and will be relieved to know that you are coming!
Using myself as an example, i am currently repairing the computer network for the Montgomery Co. Dem HQ in Dayton Ohio. When I first contacted them, their Network was in such disrepair and riddled with viruses, they were on the verge of tears! Now, after several days of work, the network is running at top speed, virus and adware free.
If shrub is to be jobless in Nov., everyone here has to do WHATEVER thay can do to help. Anything from repairing networks to plumbing to running errands, I can garuntee it will be appreciated.

2. I so agree
All politics is local too so I urge everyone to get involved in the Congressional races. My district Republican Congressman is running unopposed  so if you are lucky enough to live in an area where there is a contest, please support your local Democratic Congress critter.
