Study: Daily Show Viewers More Educated than O'Reilly Viewers
This all stems from the "stoned slackers" comment O'Leilly made to Stewart.

Comedy Central Refutes O'Reilly's Claim

The folks at Comedy Central were annoyed when Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly kept referring to "The Daily Show" audience as "stoned slackers." So they did a little research. And guess whose audience is more educated?

Viewers of Jon Stewart's show are more likely to have completed four years of college than people who watch "The O'Reilly Factor," according to Nielsen Media Research.

Comedy Central also touted a recent study by the University of Pennsylvania's National Annenberg Election Survey, which said young viewers of "The Daily Show" were more likely to answer questions about politics correctly than those who don't.

1. LOL - best quote from this article...
Comedy Central had no statistics on how many people watch "The Daily Show" stoned.

6. Seriously?
Is there a source for this?

I'd love to use this as ammo. I don't want to feel superior to these idiots, but I know that I am. It'd be nice if I could reinforce it with facts.

3. I can't wait to see what Jon does to O'Whorely.

Maybe Jon can bring out the Nielsen research and smack him around with it for an hour or two.

Novakula isn't the only "douchebag".

5. And this is what, a surprise?
O'Reilly's audience seems to be close-minded, unquestioning repugs who wouldn't read a book other than "Unfit for Command" if their lives depended on it (which, come to think of it, is kind of does).

Speaking of O'Reilly, there was a scary ad in the paper this morning publicizing his interview with Chimpy. It featured separate photos of the two of them -- egad! I had to reach for my anti-nausea pills -- I can't take a sight like that early in the day.
