A little story from me and my RW boss.
Many of you here know me from when I was doing stupid stuff at work and even got fired for it. I went back with my tail tucked and got my job back from my pigboy, insanity listening boss.

I now wear headphones and he even buys me the batteries so as not to offend me with his RW nazi radio.

This morning I came in and saw a set of 72 shirts I printed for a racing team the other day. I thought they looked wonderful but supposed something was not right.

My boss came in and said they wanted a back print put on and he saved it for me. ???? He told me they wanted K/E 2004 printed on the back and that he knew I would enjoy printing that.

The people who ordered em came in later to pick em up and they were impressed. My boss told them I printed them and that I did a great job cause I agreed with them. WOW, That felt good!!!!

Guess I am sometimes overly stupid in thinking RWers dont have brains or care about our thoughts and feelings.

Thank all you here on DU for making me think and not throw away a job out off stupidity!!!

1. Wow
What a nice, uplifting story. Maybe he's one of the true, rare, "Compassionate Conservatives"?

5. Yes, I think he might be.
If you read some of the shit I did then you have to conclude he is. I don't wanna go into what I did in the past. Many here know.

Thats why I posted this. To take my whacks and give my boss some credit.

Thanks for responding.

2. I think your Boss will
secretly vote for Kerry. He is to bull headed to admit it in public.

6. When he 1st did.
I was insulted and told him off.

He had listened to AAR on his puter for a couple of days then brought in batteries for me. I took that as an insult. I dont think it was meant that way now but at the time.

I even quit at one point, not thinking. He took me back when I came back and appologized. Since, and I think, before, It wasn't a problem for him. Just my problem.

I feel stupid now and he doesnt care who I vote for. It's a place of business and I see that now. It is nice he gives me batteries for my headset.

I am so sad now that I ragged on him and went as far as to quit.

7. Obviously he's forgiven you.
And it shows real character to admit when you're wrong.

9. Yes thank you alcuno.
I was wrong and I was more then wrong. I did some really bad stuff a few months ago which my boss(most bosses), would have fed me to the sharks and said that I quit without reason and any benefits would be Nill.

I posted my discretions here on DU and got many telling me I was wrong and I thank each and all for correcting me.

I think my RW boss saw that I was true to my appology and he understood to some degree. He let me come back and I see he is compasionate. He is also conservative.

Thats the only reason I posted this is that Lots here saw my Drama. This was a good end to it for me and I wanted those at DU who saw and responded to it to know.

Thank you all who told me I was wrong and I will be back cause I know I am right about Kerry/Edwards!!!

At work I will work.

8. Its great that he now knows.
If Compansionate Conservative is or was, Your boss sounds like a fossil or endangered. I am happy that you have him but shhhh(maybe you can work on him subtly). I dont know his age but if he is under 50 you might be able to work subtle understrokes to change his view without work problems.

You have 5 weeks so be sly and be cool. If you dont change him at least you tried. But dont lose your job.
