Sad to see America disappear before your eyes isn't it?
I thought the Convention was far removed from anything I have ever seen before. I thought Zell looking like a Nazi looney was nuts. I thought all the Military Police State images looked terrifying, the gun ships, the loss of dissent, the jailings, the theocracy being built. I thought the Statue of Liberty being closed, the barriers up around D.C was bad, but to take herorism and turn it into cowardice, Orwellian tactics of fear and Big Brother all too scary. The preemption and slaughter of innocents, and I can go on and on. All of this done in 4 short years while one man and his corporate buddies steal millions and ship jobs overseas and do it in the name of compassion is just too overwhelming. This is too sad.

Maybe we were overrun and taken over in 2000 and maybe Gore knew this and maybe just maybe the American people the true patriots will not forget all of this or just adjust and then all I can say is welcome to the 21st Century with King George's America.

Remember when you did not have a targe on your back that said shoot me I am a George Bush American? Remember I am proud to have a good job and fair pay and decent overtime pay? Remember when our kids were not terrified? Remember when you were not afraid to put a bumper sticker on your car or sign in your yard? Remember?

2. It's happening fast. The media is now completely lined up with the
Bush* crowd. Three books come to mind: Fahrenheit 451, The Handmaid's Tale and 1984. We can stop it with a good voter turnout, but if Rove pulls off a terrorist strike and Bush* gets out his bullhorn it may be over. Assholes would "support our leader"

4. I saw a faded bumpersticker of the flag that said, these colors
don't run and I just thought to myself, "No, they just fade away."

5. I feel like I've really entered The Twilight Zone
Sometimes it's difficult to fall asleep. One watches the news and the stress is overwhelming. I can't bear to listen to Bush on TV, but I'm going to force myself to watch the debates. I heard someone say it's a character flaw to support Bush! Nothing makes sense anymore.

6. Thanks to the VRWC, the "religious" Right, Karl Rove, and the media's...
complete abdication of its responsibility in a democracy --

8. 2000 was the last hope.
Budget surplus, prosperity, peace, friends around the world, relatively few threats. Like never before the U.S. was in a position to go forward and do incredible things for people here and abroad.

Too late now and getting worse.
