is it *wrong* to HATE what bushco has done?
so, I get this reply:

I sense much hate in your post. We must focus the desire to hate into a concentrated beam of intelligent energy that defeats the enemy with honesty and promise rather than contrition and anger.

to this thread:

if that smirking idiot LAUGHS one more time about IRAQ...

which is hardly the harshest rant on bushco that I've posted.

and I ask, is it really enough to just disapprove or disagree with bushco?

is it *wrong* to HATE what they've done?

they've shown murderous hatred towards this country and the world.

to me, it's sane to hate this greedy, deadly, madness.

or, do I need to conduct a more more 'sensitive' war on bushco?

1. It's ok to Hate what they've done.
But I would say that the hate means nothing unless we can concentrate a beam of intelligent energy to defeat what is being done to our society.

Emotionalism is taking over and it's making me really mad.

2. uh, 'intelligent enegy' would mean using
the weapons hand (ie. their sneering at the Iraq 'war') to us effectively.

after all, it's just THEIR WORDS, not anthrax or bunker busters ya know....

3. I don't feel guilty about it nor
will I let anyone try and lay any guilt trips on me.

Personally, I don't think it's wrong to hate what bush is doing to our Country and our People.

But then I'm not the kind to turn the other cheek.

Like it has been said on here .."Anger is a Gift"!

4. Like that works.
I'm so over the new age crap. Your post was pretty tame, IMO. Then again, I'm one of the 'haters'.

5. I noticed that one, too, nostamj.
And i noticed it was from a relative newbie. I also remember reading over the last few days that our site had been freeped pretty badly, and the mods were working overtime tombstoning these mofos.

I didn't think your original post was over the top. I've seen more passion for lesser topics here, and the suffering in Iraq is a big eff'ing deal, IMO.

It's never wrong to hate their behavior, IMO. Your own sense of morality should dictate whether you are comfortable hating them. Your morality and our laws cover your response to your passion.

Hang tight, Nostamj. You're among friends here. :) :toast:

8. I hate people who spoil a good hate rant with garbage about
playing nice. These are the people that help us loose.

9. There is a method to hatred.
Blind hate is never a positive thing. It causes too tight a focus, too narrow a vision and lapses in judgement that lead to actions that hinder instead of help.

Hate kept at a low simmer, hate used as a catalyst instead of fuel works much better.

10. Anger is necessary
this time. Any type of motivation to get out the vote. This is an election for a generation and history. People who aren't angry are not adequately informed.
