Ralph Reed and The Daily Show
This man is a toad.

He was in 100% spin mode all during the interview. The key point to me was when he said Bush had created 1.7 million jobs and Jon asked about the grand total of a million jobs lost. In a span of a few seconds laid out so many lies that it would have been impossible for Jon to pick through them all.

Ralph declared Bush inherited a recession, which we all know by the definition of recession, Bush did not. Ralph declared the 9/11 caused an immediate cratering in the job market, when we know that if the economy had been more robust, there would have been more bounce back.

Jon invited Ralph back on the show before the election and I hope Ralph takes the invitation. He is so smarmy I can see how he is a good political mouthpiece and how he is untouchable on normal political talk shows, but I have a feeling that if given enough time, Jon would be able to pick through Ralph's lies and dismantle each and every one of them.

1. He's a slippery little worm.
That's why he's in the position he's in. There's more than one or two people running around with Phd's in History. But few with the blind opportunism that he possesses.

4. I didn't see any value to RR being on the show, he was
neither informative nor entertaining...there is no purpose for ever inviting this guy back on again.

I've seen plenty of other R's on that have been entertaining, self-deprecating or possibly said something of value - this guy was an empty vessel.
