7. Getting out the vote is absolutely crucial
The more votes, the more better for Kerry.

Bone up NOW on what's required to vote. Be ready to answer questions, refute uninformed comments you overhear, and patiently explain that, no, there will not be arrests made at polling places.

Tell people that the freedoms our soldiers are allegedly fighting for in Iraq include the right to vote. If you don't vote, you might just as well take a whiz on the local American Legion hall for all the appreciation you're showing our nation's veterans.

11. Thanks. I swear I didn't know that stuff.
Man, life was better with my head in the sand. I CANNOT believe what these assholes have pulled. I can't believe it. There shouldn't be debates. This guy should already be in jail. And to think I learned it from a cartoon. Brother. Keeping up with these bastards is hard work.

12. Does anyone here know ...
... whether law enforcement personnel and civil process servers are strictly prohibited by law from staking out a polling place in order to arrest or serve legal notice on a voter?

14. Found This At The FEC's Website:
<snip>

Conspiring Against the Rights of Citizens and Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law (18 U.S.C. 241 and 242)

This statute applies in all jurisdictions and in all elections should a public official (poll worker, registrar, election official, etc.) be involved in a criminal act. If a public official is not involved, it applies only to vote fraud directly or indirectly affecting federal candidates on the ballot. Prohibited acts include, among others:

-intentionally preventing a qualified voter from casting a ballot;

-ballot box stuffing;

-forging or altering ballots;

-impersonating qualified voters;

-illegally registering voters;

-casting absentee ballots in another voter's name.

Specific questions regarding this statute or its appropriate application should be addressed to:

Director, Election CrimesBranch Department of Justice

15. Yes, that tells me what I already know. I guess it'd take a lawyer ...
... to examine the question. I'm not inclined to believe that states would vary that much but, with Florida as an example, anything is possible.

19. We need to make our own flyers
For distribution among the McMansions and the revival tents.

How about:

A low voter turnout favors Republicans,
So if you're a Republican, don't vote!
