there's been a buzz around my campus for the last month that college students now have to change their addresses on their voter registration forms from their family's home addresses to their PO boxes.

I did this a few weeks ago, and just TODAY i got a call from the registration people telling me that it is incorrect, now i cannot vote in person. i have to apply for an absentee ballot now, (and have done so) but if i understand correctly, my application has to get recieved 29 days before the election?

how many college students arent going to realize this at all?? I certainly hope i am the one, stupid, person this happened to.
