Isn't spending hundreds of millions of dollars and flogging your stable of media whores into an orgy of Kerry bashing, a campaign based on "Anyone But Kerry?" The only message, and it is thundrous, that comes from Republicans is "Kerry bad." "Kerry windsurf." "Kerry ski." "Kerry get suntan." "Kerry flip flop." "Kerry bad."

So how can any Republican discount Democratic motives, when their own campaign is obviously ABK?

I don't know how even Rethugs swallow that. So if somebody asks if you are regged, you are supposed to say No thank you, I might not vote for Bush?

6. Pointing it out serves two purposes.

It will shut them up, and it's a stark reminder of what an issues-empty campaign they've run, at a time when the country is sinking into what looks more and more like a quagmire. This is not the time to talk about windsurfing.

The next time someone says something negative about Kerry, I'm going to simply start mocking them by saying, "Yeah, and he windsurfs! And he got a sun tan! And he skis, the rat!"
