7. Kerry should use his sharp mind to present himself as the superior man.
He should stay totally within the rules.

If he breaks them, he loses this election. Bush will just call him on it, and then he can mock Kerry for the whole debate and nobody will pity Kerry.

We want Bush to make smarmy comments, and we want Kerry to look like a BETTER president.
